Johnson Shines At The Plate In Potomac State College Victory Over Chesapeake Community College Skipjacks

Halei Johnson didn't feel much like getting out on Friday, tallying four hits and leading Potomac State College to a 13-9 win over Chesapeake Community College Skipjacks.Johnson singled in the first, homered in the second, singled in the fourth, and homered in the fifth.

Potomac State College earned the victory despite allowing Chesapeake Community College Skipjacks to score five runs in the third inning. Faith CheethamEmily Lowrance, and Ariane Valdez all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Potomac State College opened up scoring in the first inning, when Allison Leighty doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
