Late Heroics Highlight Potomac State’s Resilience in Draw Against CCBC Catonsville

Baltimore, MD - The Potomac State Women's Soccer team showcased their grit and determination on Tuesday afternoon, clawing back from two separate deficits to earn a dramatic 2-2 draw against CCBC Catonsville.

The Catamounts fell behind early after Catonsville opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Potomac State responded. In the 29th minute, Lynnea Clark netted the equalizer, bringing the match level at 1–1.

Catonsville regained the lead in the 75th minute, but Potomac State refused to back down. With time winding down, Eva Ochoa delivered the moment of the match, netting her first collegiate goal in the 88th minute to bring the game level. Her late strike capped off a spirited comeback and underscored the team's never-say-die attitude.

Hadley Courtney added 6 saves to backstop the Potomac State defense.

Potomac State will look to carry this momentum into their next match, returning home to host Hagerstown Community College on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM.
