Martha Ganoe is entering her 17th year as the head coach of the Potomac State College volleyball team, boasting an impressive overall record of 300-114 with the Catamounts. Throughout her tenure, Ganoe has transformed the program into one of the premier teams in NJCAA Region XX. She has been recognized as the District H Coach of the Year three times (2016, 2017, and 2020) and has received the WPCC Coach of the Year award five times. Under her leadership, the Catamounts have claimed three Region XX Championships (2016, 2017, and 2020), been runners-up twice (2011 and 2015), and reached the final four on 12 occasions.

In 2012, Coach Ganoe was inducted into the Fairmont State University Athletic Hall of Fame. As a player, she contributed to the Falcons' overall record of 116-71, playing a pivotal role in their undefeated conference season of 18-0 during her senior year. Ganoe helped lead the Falcons to two WVIAC conference championships and three WVIAC Tournament Championships. She earned spots on the WVIAC All-Conference teams during her junior and senior years and also received All-East honors. Additionally, she was named the MVP of the WVIAC Tournament during her senior year and ranks among Fairmont State University's all-time defensive leaders with a career total of 1,806 digs.

Before her coaching career at Potomac State, Ganoe served as the head coach at her alma mater, Frankfort High School in Ridgeley, WV, from 1999 to 2007. During her time there, her teams compiled an impressive record of 191-86. She was recognized as the Potomac Valley Conference Coach of the Year and named the AMAC Coach of the Year in 2007. Ganoe guided her teams to nine consecutive appearances in the West Virginia state tournament, finishing in the top four three times, and capturing 10 consecutive sectional championships along with several regional championships.
