Greene Leads Balanced Effort as Potomac State Men Defeat Community Christian

December 13, 2025

Keyser, W.Va. - The Potomac State Men's Basketball team earned an 84–72 home victory over Community Christian (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon inside Lough Gym, improving to 9–4 on the season. Potomac State set the tone early, building a 36–26 advantage at halftime behind strong shooting and active defense. The Catamounts continued to apply pressure in the second half, answering each Community Christian push to maintain control down the stretch.

RJ Greene led all scorers with a game-high 29 points, shooting efficiently from the field and the free-throw line while providing consistent offense throughout the contest. Peter Quaye added 10 points, and Christian Miller gave the Catamounts a spark off the bench with nine points in limited minutes. Potomac State also received balanced contributions across the lineup, with multiple players impacting the game on the glass and in transition. The Catamounts finished the afternoon shooting over 50 percent from the field and used their depth to wear down Community Christian in the second half.

Community Christian cut into the deficit late but was unable to overcome Potomac State's steady execution and ability to convert at the free-throw line in the final minutes. Potomac State will look to build on the momentum from Saturday's win as Region 20 play continues next week as they travel to face Westmoreland County Community College on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 at 7pm.
