| Title: | Head Men's Soccer Coach |
Tim Bailey enters his third season as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Potomac State, bringing a strong background in both player development and competitive success to the Catamount program.
A former standout goalkeeper for Potomac State, Bailey competed for the Catamounts during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. During his playing career, he earned NJCAA Region 20 First Team honors in both seasons and was also recognized with Region 20 All-Tournament Team honors, establishing himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the region.
Prior to returning to Potomac State as head coach, Bailey gained valuable coaching experience with BVB International Academy in Morgantown, West Virginia. BVB International Academy is affiliated with the renowned Borussia Dortmund Academy in Dortmund, Germany, and operates under the core principles of character, quality, and tradition. During his time with the academy, Bailey worked extensively with youth players, helping develop technical skills, tactical understanding, and a strong competitive mindset.
Since taking over the Catamount program, Bailey has emphasized player development, performance enhancement, and the creation of a positive team culture. His tenure has been highlighted by the implementation of comprehensive training programs designed to improve players both on and off the field while fostering an environment that balances accountability, growth, and competitive excellence.
Through his first two seasons at the helm, Bailey has compiled a 13-13-1 overall record and has guided Potomac State into contention within NJCAA Region 20. Under his leadership, the Catamounts continue to build a foundation for sustained success while developing student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
