Potomac State hosted Baltimore City Community College on Monday Evening for their home opener. The Catamounts dominated the whole game, taking down the Panthers 78-45.
The Catamounts started quick and did not look back taking a 16-1 lead six minutes into the game. The second quarter was much of the same and Potomac State took a 47-11 lead into halftime. The second half was much of the same, even with better shooting from the Panthers, The Catamounts responded with a big shot of their own and eventually winning the game by 33 points.
Freshman Amber Bing led the way for the Catamounts with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Tenley Paugh added 21 points and 4 assists. Elizabeth Pryor, Hannah Ault, and Ericka Zirk combined for another 25 points and Ault led the way with assists (7).
The Catamounts will be back in action Sat. Nov 9 and Sun. Nov 10 for the ACM Personal Best Classic where they will take on SUNY Niagara and Allegany College of Maryland. Games times are set for 1pm and 4pm at ACM.
