Potomac State Completes Charger Classic Sweep With Win Over Clark State

Piqua, Oh. - Potomac State College Women's Basketball closed out its trip to the 2025 Charger Classic with a strong 72–62 victory over Clark State College on Saturday, earning a sweep of the two-game weekend in Piqua, Ohio. The Catamounts rode efficient scoring, dominant interior play, and balanced contributions across the lineup to secure their second straight tournament win.

After a close first quarter, Potomac State built separation by outscoring Clark State 17–7 in the second period, turning a one-point deficit into a 34–25 halftime lead. The Catamounts maintained control throughout the second half, responding to each Clark State surge with composed possessions and high-percentage looks inside.

Sophomore forward Ericka Zirk delivered a career performance, powering the Catamounts with 27 points and 18 rebounds on 11-of-20 shooting. Zirk anchored the paint on both ends of the floor, helping Potomac State outrebound Clark State 68–28 in a decisive statistical advantage.

Freshman guard Miya Harris continued her standout weekend with 16 points, eight assists, and two steals while shooting an efficient 5-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 at the line. Her pace and decision-making fueled a Potomac State offense that shot 53.8% for the game.

Larkin Walker added 11 points and nine rebounds in another strong interior effort, while Mya Glisan contributed six points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Off the bench, Bailey Evans provided a spark with five points and three rebounds, and Meghan Harris chipped in three points.

With the win, Potomac State concludes the Charger Classic undefeated and carries momentum into their next game at Garrett College on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at 5pm.
