McHenry, Md. - Potomac State Women's Basketball team delivered a tough, disciplined road performance on Tuesday night, earning a 71–62 victory over Garrett College to continue building momentum in the early stretch of the season. The Catamounts controlled the opening quarter, matched Garrett shot-for-shot through the middle frames, and closed with authority behind strong guard play and dominant interior rebounding.

Potomac State set the tone early, racing out to a 15–9 first-quarter lead behind efficient scoring from the starting group. Garrett responded with a competitive second and third quarter, but the Catamounts' steady execution held firm as they entered the fourth with the game still within reach. In the final period, Potomac State put together its most complete stretch of the night—outscoring the Lakers 21–12 and sealing the win with timely defense, composed ball movement, and big late-game buckets.

The backcourt duo of Miya Harris and Mya Glisan powered the offense all night. Harris was sensational, posting 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 8–16 from the floor and 7–8 at the line. Glisan added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in a full 40-minute effort, making plays on both ends to keep momentum in Potomac State's favor.

Inside, Ericka Zirk delivered one of the key performances of the night, securing a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds while shooting an efficient 9–15 from the field. Her presence on the glass helped Potomac State finish with a 36–35 rebounding edge and limited Garrett's second-chance opportunities. Larkin Walker also contributed 7 rebounds and 5 assists, providing stability in the paint and facilitating the offense.

Defensively, Potomac State forced 18 turnovers and held Garrett to 28.4% shooting and just 2–19 from three, staying connected and disciplined through all four quarters.

With balanced scoring, strong rebounding, and four starters logging 31+ minutes, the Catamounts showed their toughness in what proved to be a demanding road matchup.

Potomac State returns to action soon as they look to build on Tuesday night's win and continue their early-season push.
