Keyser, W.Va. — Potomac State Women's Basketball delivered a complete team performance on Monday afternoon, controlling all four quarters on the way to a convincing 77–50 win over Allegany College of Maryland at Lough Gym. The Catamounts improved to 7–2 on the season and 1–1 in Region 20 play, using a combination of efficient offense, dominating rebounding, and active defense to pull away early and maintain command throughout.
Miya Harris set the tone with a standout outing, pouring in a game-high 26 points while adding six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Harris caught fire from beyond the arc and was perfect at the free-throw line, helping drive a 20-point second quarter surge. Forward Mya Glisan was a force inside, securing a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds while attacking the offensive glass and creating second-chance opportunities. Larkin Walker added 11 points and nine boards off the bench, giving Potomac State a strong lift in the post.
The Catamounts out-rebounded Allegany 47–35 and held the visitors to just 18% shooting from the floor. Potomac State's defensive pressure created 11 steals and disrupted Allegany's rhythm from start to finish. Balanced scoring, unselfish ball movement, and sustained effort fueled a dominant 27-point third quarter that broke the game open. Nine different Catamounts contributed points in the win, reflecting the depth and cohesion that continues to shape this year's squad.
Potomac State now turns its attention to Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 as they host Howard Community College inside Lough Gym at 5pm.
