Catamounts Roll Past Howard, Improve to 8–2

Keyser, W.Va. — Potomac State Women's Basketball delivered a complete team performance on Tuesday night, defeating Howard Community College 67–43 inside Lough Gymnasium to move to 8–2 on the season and 2–1 in Region 20 play. After an even opening quarter, the Catamounts took control with a dominant 21–8 second frame, locking in defensively and pushing the tempo to build a double-digit lead they never surrendered. Potomac State held Howard to just four points in the third quarter, allowing the offense to extend the margin and cruise into the final period.

Miya Harris led the way with a game-high 19 points, knocking down five threes while adding seven rebounds and four assists in an all-around standout outing. Brylee Wetzel followed with 12 points and seven rebounds, directing the offense with a team-high five assists. Mya Glisan provided another strong interior performance, finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Bailey Evans added efficient scoring off the block with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting. Larkin Walker anchored the second unit, contributing five points, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 22 productive minutes.

The Catamounts controlled the glass 41–29 and assisted on 17 of their 25 made field goals, showcasing balanced, connected play on both ends of the floor. Potomac State returns to action later this week as they continue Region 20 competition on the road against CCBC Essex on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 2pm.
