Catamounts Earn Road Win at Hagerstown, 59–46

Hagerstown, Md. — Potomac State College women's basketball team put together a strong all-around performance on the road Wednesday evening, pulling away in the second half to secure a 59–46 victory over Hagerstown Community College at ARCC. After a tightly contested first half, the Catamounts used defensive pressure and timely scoring to take control after the break. Potomac State outscored Hagerstown 36–24 over the final two quarters, limiting the Hawks to just nine points in the third quarter to create separation.

Miya Harris led all scorers with 19 points, attacking the rim consistently and converting 13-of-18 free throw attempts. Mya Glisan provided a strong presence in the paint, finishing with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 37 minutes of action. Ericka Zirk anchored the Catamounts on the glass, pulling down a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with three assists, three steals, and two blocks, while Brylee Wetzel and Larkin Walker contributed efficient minutes and defensive effort in the win.

Defensively, Potomac State forced 13 turnovers and held Hagerstown to 30.5 percent shooting from the field. The Catamounts also won the rebounding battle, 43–49, and converted at the free throw line when it mattered most to maintain control down the stretch. With the win, Potomac State continues to build momentum as the season progresses, showing depth, balance, and resilience on the road.

The Catamounts will look to carry that momentum into their next contest as they travel to play CCBC Catonsville on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at 5pm.
