McHenry, Md. - Potomac State Men's Basketball team delivered another explosive offensive performance on Tuesday night, rolling past Garrett College 104–79 on the road. The Catamounts controlled the pace from start to finish, combining efficient shooting, relentless rebounding, and major contributions from both the starting lineup and the bench. Potomac State set the tone early with a 39-point first half, attacking the rim and pushing the tempo to take a 39–33 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Catamounts unleashed a 65-point offensive outburst—overpowering Garrett in transition, spacing the floor with confident perimeter shooting, and dominating the glass to break the game open.

Antonio Pollard led the night with a huge spark off the bench, pouring in 21 points on an ultra-efficient 7–8 shooting performance, including 3–4 from deep. His energy and shot-making helped ignite the Catamounts during their second-half surge. The scoring was balanced and comprehensive across the roster. Peter Quaye added 18 points on 70% shooting, finishing strong around the rim and providing steady two-way play. Rodney Vilsaint and Joell Young each posted 16 points, combining for 12 rebounds and attacking Garrett consistently from the guard positions.

Jordan Taylor was a force inside, securing a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring the defensive glass and giving Potomac State crucial interior presence. Off the bench, RJ Greene contributed 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Nasir Cheatham added quality minutes with 4 points and 3 boards. As a team, Potomac State shot 52.1% from the field, 40.9% from three, and an impressive 86.4% at the line, pairing elite efficiency with physicality on the boards. The Catamounts outrebounded Garrett 41–39, held the Lakers to 41% shooting, and consistently turned defensive stops into fast-break opportunities.
