Keyser, W.Va. — Potomac State Men's Basketball put together one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season on Tuesday night, earning a 75–63 win over Howard Community College at Lough Gymnasium. The victory moves the Catamounts to 8–4 overall and an even 2–2 in Region 20 play. Potomac State came out firing, shooting 50 percent in the first half and knocking down six threes to build a 45–41 advantage at the break. The Catamounts then tightened the screws defensively in the second half, holding Howard to just 22 points while controlling the glass and limiting second-chance opportunities.
RJ Greene powered the offense with a game-high 26 points, hitting five threes and adding five rebounds and two assists in a standout all-around effort. Peter Quaye continued his strong interior play with 16 points and nine rebounds, converting at the rim and anchoring the Catamount frontcourt. Colby Margenau delivered one of his most efficient games of the season, scoring 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting while grabbing eight rebounds and blocking two shots. Rodney Vilsaint and Joell Young each added steady guard play, combining for seven rebounds and five assists, while the Catamount bench provided valuable minutes—highlighted by Antonio Pollard's nine boards and Cam Young's playmaking off the dribble.
Potomac State finished the night shooting 45 percent from the field, 42 percent from three, and 85 percent at the line, while outrebounding Howard 41–30 and assisting on 16 baskets. The Catamounts continue their homestand later this week as they host Community Christian College (Michigan) on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 3pm.
