Balanced Scoring Lifts Potomac State Men Past CCBC Catonsville, 62–57

Baltimore, MD - Potomac State Men's Basketball leaned on its depth and defensive effort Wednesday night, earning a 62–57 road victory over CCBC Catonsville at Catonsville. The Catamounts (14–5, 3–2) built an early advantage by outscoring the Cardinals 35–25 in the first half, then withstood a second-half rally to secure the five-point win. Potomac State placed a heavy emphasis on team contributions, with nine different players recording points in the contest.

Forward Jordan Taylor paced the Catamounts with 11 points and 12 rebounds, posting a double-double while controlling the glass. Guards Joell Young and Rodney Vilsaint followed with 10 and nine points, respectively, as Potomac State continued to apply pressure from multiple positions. The Catamount bench played a key role throughout the night, combining for timely baskets and defensive energy. David Rushing and Rodney Carter each scored seven points, while the reserves helped maintain pace and physicality during critical stretches of the game.
